This reminded of a post from a security expert I’ve seen on Twitter. When in a taxi, uber, lyft or whatever ALWAYS sit directly behind the driver, this gives you an advantage in four ways:
1. You are closer to the door controls
2. You can strangle the driver with their seatbelt if needed (seems drastic and awfully violent but this saved one of my friend’s life)
3. It’s harder for them to reach/touch you
4. In case of an accident, the driver’s instinct is to protect themselves, therefore their side!
Protect yourself, protect you friends!
