Aces aren’t inherently lgbt so adding the ace flag to lgbt post is useless. Unless the ace person is same gender attracted or trans, they aren’t lgbt

In my opinion, asexuals should be included in the LGBT community, since their sexual orientation isn’t straight

In fact, their complete lack of a sexual orientation is truly something to be accepted and appreciated

Aces are remarkable, really, and certainly inherently LGBT. However, they don’t have to identify as part of the community if they don’t want to, but most do

I’m not saying they aren’t valid, remarkable, and deserving of respect!

A person can be ace and gay, ace a straight, and ace and bi! The lack of sexual attraction doesn’t mean they don’t feel attraction in another way.

If a cis girl came to me, said she was only attracted to men, and that she was ace, I wouldn’t think she was lgbt because she’s cis and het.

Their lack of sexual attraction doesn’t make a person inherently lgbt. If varying sexual attraction is a part of lgbt, then why wouldn’t the opposite-hypersexuals-be inherently lgbt?

To say that aces are inherently lgbt is to say that being lgbt is a sexual deviant and is the same as saying that kinky people/bdsm is inherently lgbt. It’s not, but that doesn’t mean that people in those groups aren’t lgbt in other ways.
